We are expanding our sales team and have an immediate opening for a Sales Lead Generation Specialist. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential! As the Sales Lead Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Sales Account Executives. 

Candidates who apply must be highly motivated self-starters who are able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. The Sales Lead Generation Specialist will be performing telemarketing tasks by simply calling on lists and documenting the information. The learning opportunities are endless! The Sales Lead Generation Specialist is expected to:

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email to introduce the products The Wellness Network offers and identify appropriate clients within the target market
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how the products will speak to those needs
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Work with the Sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in a CRM ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards 

Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • 1-3 years telemarketing, promotions and/or inside sales experience and proven track record of strong client relationships and client service skills—will consider college graduates who may not have the sales experience but have strong interpersonal skills and motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude required
  • HUNTER mentality, professionally aggressive and highly motivated
  • SMART and COACHABLE, you must be able to learn and understand highly technical topics
  • Ability to take initiative to monitor and continuously improve efforts
  • Exceptional Organizational skills 

Technical Experience Required:

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a customized CRM software preferred
