CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (CoE) MANAGER
The Center of Excellence (CoE) Manager has the unique responsibility of directly managing key projects at LTP using both outside partners as well as working with cross-functional teams to achieve desired deliverables. Under the vision and direction of the General Manager, the CoE Manager leads project management efforts for LTP’s Center of Excellence (CoE) as well as other strategic initiatives spanning across all business units. Utilizing internal resources and external partners, the CoE Manager oversees all training activities relating to tablet use as well as directing software development plans to leverage the benefits of full software capabilities; i.e. data/reporting. Through internal staff and outside partners, the CoE Manager oversees all aspects of the IT function. The CoE Manager works with the Executive Team to create excellence in process documentation to help ensure consistency in approach and scalability through LTP’s growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Center of Excellence:
Reporting to the General Manager, fully accountable for project management for all CoE’s activities; set up meeting structure, function as integral part of action plan phase, communicate progress, ensure desired outcomes are achieved and ensure closing of project with necessary quality checks.
Responsible for leading project management efforts for key corporate initiatives across IT, CoE, Marketing, Operations, and other functions as determined. Fully accountable for all aspects of project management from meeting structure to ensuring deliverable are met.
Responsible for project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, deliverables, presentation of results, follow up, and quality review.
Responsible for business process re-engineering, creating and automating process flow.
Drive continuous improvement for business process management.
Develop a methodology to audit LTP’s branches to ensure compliance with the established SOP’s and business standards.
Initiate and facilitate corrective action to ensure quality standards are maintained
Oversee LTP’s IT function through internal resources and external partners in ensuring all IT needs are met in accordance with the budgeting cycle and strategic planning goals
Lead program management in expansion of technology capability and integration to improve collaboration, content management, reporting and analytics, planning and workflow
Lead implementation of new technologies and research/analysis of business processes
Working with internal resources and external partners, ensure user’s needs are met relating to technology and systems support while maintaining impeccable customer service- mind set of “customer’ first
Using internal resources and external partners, oversee proper functioning and maintenance of IT hardware
Through internal resources and external partners, oversee all aspects of desktop support, LAN administration, Network Engineering, Storage device management, disaster recovery, email management, software license management, platform maintenance, cell phone and tablet program management, asset management, hardware and wireless administration, vendor management, AV equipment, technology procurement
Using external partners, oversee all aspects of tablet training for LTP’s technicians, service managers, dispatchers and other key personnel; onboarding phases and ongoing support
Work with General Manager and other key personnel in assessing current and future tablet use needs and capabilities. Lead project management efforts for required enhancements through implementation.
Support Executive Sponsor with project management and maintenance phase of process documentation. Set up a repository to document all critical corporate processes (following best practice Six Sigma/ ISO 9000 process documentation system)
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is generally performed in an office environment.
Ability to travel to other locations, conduct training sessions and/or meetings; car or air travel.

Customer focused and result driven approach.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT or related field required
3+ years experience in a project management function
3+ years experience overseeing an IT organization, departments within an IT organization, or as a key contributor or IT team member
Subject matter expertise in operational processes
Process documentation (Six Sigma, ISO9000) experience highly preferred
Experience managing outside vendors required
Experience conducting training sessions required
