Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer
The individual in this position is responsible for analysis, planning, development and maintenance of SSI’s operations as they relate to database systems, reporting, and business intelligence platforms. Assistance with creation and maintenance of workflows in Microsoft products and programming support related to various web platforms, including Microsoft’s CRM, GP, and SharePoint.
The analyst/developer will be at the forefront of an initiative to migrate current reporting techniques to industry leading reporting tools, providing the organization customized dashboards and visualization tools to drive business decisions. The analyst/developer will further the use of a business intelligence platform to represent key statistics and KPIs to support the business. Strong SQL skills are required: troubleshooting and optimization to create and maintain efficient solutions, as well as creation of SQL stored procedures. The ability to extend applications and leverage existing functionality and capabilities to meet business needs.
This position will work directly with business partners and internal customers in the delivery of all of the above items. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to understand the dynamic needs of the business are critical to the success of this role.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Incumbent is required to have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science/programming, information technology, management information systems, or related field, coupled with three or more years of experience in Microsoft SQL, SSRS, BI platforms including Microsoft Power BI, and web programming. Some knowledge of IIS, ADFS, networking, and SharePoint is a desirable. MS certifications in SQL, CRM, GP, SharePoint or programming also desired.
